Charlotte de Witte has been voted The World's No. 1 Techno DJ in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll 2025. Taking home the award for the fifth year in a row, and breaking into the poll’s top 10 for the first time to claim the No. 9 spot, the Belgian star reached the techno stratosphere in 2025. Amidst a busy run of massive club sets and festival slots around the world, including a b2b2b with Amelie Lens and Sara Landry at Coachella, de Witte made history at Tomorrowland in July. Despite a fire destroying the original main stage just two days before festival started, after a 48 hour period of uncertainty, it all went ahead and de Witte became the first artist ever to open and close the main stage on the same day, playing a 'Daybreak' set at noon, and returning for a closing headline slot. You can watch our 24 hours with: Charlotte De Witte documentary from that historic Saturday on YouTube, and join her as she navigates the aftermath of the fire and shares some insights into just how she prepared for this landmark moment in her career. It’s been a year of landmark moments for de Witte, who also announced the release of her long-awaited debut self-titled LP, which is set to land on her own KNTXT label in November. She also launched an ongoing series of free pop-pop events, with parties taking place in New York, Milan and Ghent so far, and more scheduled for London. Her pop-up set at the Williamsburg Bridge was, according to her, the highlight of her year so far. She’s showing no signs of slowing down next year either. On 6th February 2026, she’ll return to Ghent for a triumphant homecoming show at the Flanders Expo. To a crowd of 23,000 fans, the show will celebrate the star’s 15th anniversary as an artist. "Returning to Flanders Expo to celebrate this incredible milestone feels like coming home," says Charlotte de Witte. "This event is more than just a party; it's a moment for the community we've built together over the past fifteen years. I can't wait to share this special moment with everyone." The results of the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2025 were revealed on Tuesday 30th September at our awards show at [UNVRS] Ibiza. Alongside a headline performance from the newly crowned World’s No.1 DJ, David Guetta, the event featured performances from a line-up of top-tier talent and rising stars, including Armin van Buuren, Boris Brejcha, Indira Paganotto, Jazzy and Miss Monique. New for Top 100 DJs 2025, DJ Mag partnered with Bridges for Music to launch a dedicated fundraising campaign aimed at empowering young people through music. 2024 Top 100 DJs winner Martin Garrix kicked off our fundraising campaign with a donation of £34,000 to Bridges for Music — enough to sponsor the music education of 34 students for 12 months. Attendees were also given the option to make a donation to Bridges for Music when purchasing tickets to the Top 100 DJs Awards party.
The results of this year’s Top 100 DJs poll were announced at [UNVRS] Ibiza tonight (30th September)
