New for Top 100 DJs 2025, DJ Mag has partnered with Bridges for Music to launch a dedicated fundraising campaign aimed at empowering young people through music. Ticket buyers will be given the option to make a donation to Bridges for Music when purchasing tickets to the Top 100 DJs Awards. DJ Mag will be canvassing the support of the world’s most popular global DJs, as voted for in the annual Top 100 DJs poll. We are asking each of the ranked artists to sponsor at least one student to embark on the Bridges for Music program, a holistic initiative combining music, mental health support and entrepreneurship and providing access to the music industry. Speaking of the campaign’s goals, DJ Mag COO, Simon Kelly, said: “As DJ Mag’s flagship global product, we firmly believe that Top 100 DJs should be a force for good in the wider dance music ecosystem. By asking each of the 100 biggest DJs in the world to sponsor the education of at least one creative from an underrepresented community, we can create a meaningful impact for the next generation of aspiring DJs and music producers.” The Top 100 DJs started life in 1993 as an editorially-curated list of 100 DJs to celebrate the 100th edition of DJ Magazine. Since then, Top 100 DJs has grown into the world’s largest publicly voted music poll and a key global snapshot of the world’s most popular electronic dance music artists. With no nominations or entry criteria, Top 100 DJs is a fully open poll. Voters are simply asked to choose their top five DJs, regardless of whether they have five followers or five million. In 2024, Martin Garrix topped the Top 100 DJs poll for a fifth time, jumping ahead of 2023 winner David Guetta and drawing level with trance icon Armin van Buuren for the highest number of Top 100 DJs wins.
