PAROOKAVILLE is the largest electronic music festival in Germany and takes place every year in July at Weeze Airport in North Rhine–Westphalia. It is not just a music festival, but a fully staged festival city: visitors symbolically travel to the fictional city of “PAROOKAVILLE,” receive a “passport,” and become part of a unique world with a mayor, different districts, and an overarching storyline. The festival grounds are divided into various themed and musical areas and are known for their huge, highly detailed stages, spectacular light, fire, and pyrotechnic shows, as well as international top DJs from EDM, house, techno, and hardstyle.
