Burning Man is an annual, week-long event focused on community, art, self-expression, and radical self-reliance held in Nevada's Black Rock Desert. Around 70,000+ participants build a temporary city, culminating in the burning of a large wooden effigy. It is a decommodified, participatory, and leave-no-trace event based on "Ten Principles".
